Utah Beach

After reading D-Day and Band of Brothers, a visit to France would not be complete without visiting the D-Day Beaches of Normandy.

The museum at Utah beach was closed so there was no one there to tell Jesse that he wasn't allowed to man the 155mm Long Tom.

Belgian gates and barbed wire are still visible on the bluffs of Utah Beach.
The German 88mm guns that defend the beach against the Allied invasion are still entrenched.

This Higgins boat was used by the U.S. 4th Infantry Division during the D-Day invasion.
