Since I have visited the Normandy beaches previously, the highlight for me was the Bed and Breakfast we stayed at and the amazing French food.

The common room always had a fire going with local cider to sip on. Every morning there was a great spread of fresh baked croissants and other yummys.
After five months of English cooking, every course tasted amazing at the only restaurant open for miles around! We are so lucky to be right across the channel, so that we can come back and see more of France.
