Here is our baby English tree.
He is subbing in for the grand fresh firs that we normally show for Christmas. We love him though. This year we were going to pass on the expense of a Christmas tree, but then Tree Day arrived, and our house felt bare without one. So now he gets to sit for all to see in front of our bay window overlooking the street.
He displays all the ornaments we have collected on our journeys so far. There are nativity scenes from Germany, hobo men from Rothenburg ob de Trauber, and painted blown eggs from Salzburg. I even hand strung the cranberries left over from Thanksgiving preparations. We are so excited to start this English Advent.
aw I like your little tree! it looks perfect and perfectly fits your new ornaments. :-) good choice!
