We are a month and a half into our one year exchange. I am still job seeking and we are not settled into our church yet so we have not made too many friends yet. This created the perfect time for my Mom to come and drag me away from my constant friend-my laptop.
We both researched the most beautiful places within two hours of my house and came up with a pretty good iterery.
Our first Stop- the Cotswolds.
The Cotswolds are a string of quaint towns filled with castles, houses, pubs, and shops, many which have stood for hundreds of years.
This is just the gate house to the castle.
Sudeley Castle was the home of "Queen Katherine Parr, the last and only surviving wife of Henry VIII. Henry, Anne Boleyn, Lady Jane Grey and Queen Elizabeth I have all lived at or visited Sudeley".
This trip was made extra perfect by the 60-70 degree days and sunny skies.
