Playing with Fashion

My friends will tell you, and I agree, that I have never kept close tabs on the current fashions. Arriving in London first made me acutely aware of this fact. Jesse was the first to mention it, on the Tube of all places. He said: "Everything seems very similar to America except that everyone looks like they just went shopping and they are all dressed up to go somewhere nice..."

So now it was my turn to shop. It was not as simple as I imagined it. I darted furtively in and out of shops as soon as I noticed the clientele. All over 50? time to leave and look very bored. I found a store with decent prices, a good sale going on, and people from 18-40, so it seemed a place to get a good start. Next problem-I could not fit into one of all my great finds. In England, add 2 sizes to your current number-it's great for some exercise motivation. After a day of shopping in one store I came out with 3 outfits- that's it. At least I started. Here is one of the current fall trends.

Jesse cut off the cute flats I was wearing. I should be wearing it with some cute boots. Everyone is still wearing Uggs over here.

  1. Very nice! I should have you buy me some clothes so I can be ahead of the fashion curve! Or I'll just get them when I visit. By the way, your weird lawn mover video is funny.. and just kind of odd a the same time.
