Not straying towards one's own lusts or desires,
but staying firm.
Choosing to love, and not take.
Deciding to sacrifice for the other and not grow bitter.
Sharing hurt, tears, laughter, memories.
Can anyone know keeps them entwined?
Can any onlooker fathom their bond?
No, it is for them to keep
As a secret
Close to their hearts to stay
till death bear them to part...
but not for long.
