The Simpson family tradition of seeing whose ornament will be placed closest to the top of the tree continued this year. Sarah's angle ornament took the early lead with a little help from Joe Walker (to see awkward pictures of Sarah click on the picture below). Devon soon placed a wooden American Flag, straddled by two golden walnuts, hung very close together, over top of them. A few minutes later the Christmas tree fell over, almost hitting Campbell and Colin, displacing the ornaments. Jon soon placed his own green ball atop the tree. Who actually holds the top spot at this moment nobody knows. It was quite the drama. Stay tuned for future updates.
