0700. The phone rang. School was cancelled!
The newscaster proclaimed the 6" of snow that fell the worst snowstorm Taunton has seen in 30 years
Jesse forgot he was the adult foreign teacher ambassador and planned a surprise 0715 bombardment on the boys next door. But he got the surprise when the first snowball was thrown at him! Jesse had secretly made close to 25 snowballs so he was prepared and quickly took the upper hand. Soon, it was three on one and Jesse's back up(me) was content laughing and taking pics.
I couldn't resist the snow for long. The snow was perfect packing snow, not the icy slush or flyaway powder that falls back home.
Reece, Jesse, Nigel, Kate, Robyn, and Jake. Our neighbors next door helped build our snowman. Kate brought the yummy hot chocolate out on a pretty tray with tea towel and all. I love the British!
A few days latter, our snowman did not fail to impress as he melted.
