Our first tent

Jesse and I bought our first tent early summer and waited months for it to turn cold enough to break it out.

We headed down South to Virginia to celebrate my dad's birthday. What better place is there than the Shenandoah Valley to watch the forest turn into autumn?

Poor Jesse was sick for our camping trip, but he came anyway. He even collected the wood for the fire and let me set up the tent on my own. Ok, so I am a little possessive of the tent I picked out. What a loving husband...

The highlight of the trip was the fire Jesse and I started together. Ok, so we did have a little conflict over how to start a fire, but in the end the graham cracker box started the fire so it wins.

Introducing...

Rose's New Car!!

Which she loves. Maybe even more than her old poor crashed car.

And...We match! Yes, it's silly, but Rose did not want to drive the Sonata Boat so Jesse let her pick the car she loved best (and that was still inexpensive). So now we have two Hyundai Elantras.

The Simpsons Taste Bethesda

K.K. and Devon introduced the family to The 2007 Taste of Bethesda on Saturday

Around 50 local restaurants set up tents to offer samples from their menu. We used up our tickets up on:

Mortons, Ruth Chris, Chipolte, California Tortilla, Ledo's, A Cupcake Tent, Soothie King, & Gifford's Ice Cream

The babies were happy with the Lollipops and balloons

We can't wait to come back next year!
